Meet Zack Dixon: The Rising Star of the Stock Car Circuit
With racing running deep in his veins, Zack Dixon is no ordinary young driver. Following his father’s experience as a racer, Zack enjoys being surrounded by the rumble of engines and the thrill of the track. Known for his high character, infectious enthusiasm, and relentless drive, this Georgia native is accelerating into the future of stock car racing.
Hailing from the vibrant town of Monroe, Zack was raised by Joe and Kym Dixon. An all-around athlete, his sporting talent was evident from a young age. But it was the roar of the racetrack that truly captured Zack’s heart.
Zack’s racing journey revved into high gear in 2020 when he began competing in Pro Trucks. A natural behind the wheel, he progressed to Late Model racing in 2021. Fast forward to 2023, and Zack is now making waves in the Pro Late Models, showcasing his skill and determination at every turn.
Currently, Zack is part of a dynamic team, equipped with two top-notch race cars, custom-built by Hamke Racecars and powered by Hamner Motors. Guiding Zack through every bend is his trusted Crew Chief team of Ronnie Sanders and Hunter Robbins, Wayne Quattlebaum as Engine Specialist, and Terry Treadwell as assistant Crew Chief, all backed by a dedicated pit crew. And in spirit, Zack’s twin sister, Kaitlyn, who sadly passed away in 2019, remains the team’s #1 fan, her memory fuelling Zack’s drive to succeed.
With a firm foot on the gas, Zack’s goals for the 2023 season are clear: qualify for each race, consistently finish in the top 5, and learn as much as he can from each racing experience and from his seasoned Team.
When not burning rubber, Zack utilizes his skills as a CAD-certified professional with a prestigious engineering firm. His love for the great outdoors shines through his hobbies, which include hunting and fishing. But you’ll most likely find him at the racing shop, always prepping for the next race.
Looking ahead, Zack’s aspirations reflect his relentless drive and commitment to his craft. He aims to continuously learn, uphold his reputation as a clean racer, and plans to transition to Super Late Models within two years. Increasing the involvement of marketing partners to grow his team is another priority, indicative of his forward-thinking approach.
Zack Dixon isn’t just a racer; he’s a force to be reckoned with. His journey from a young boy watching his father race to becoming a rising star in the stock car circuit is nothing short of inspiring. So, keep your eyes on Zack. He’s not just racing to win; he’s racing to leave a legacy.
